About Us
Forming faith and character in the next generation
Youth Orthodox Tewahedo Academy exists to give children and youth a structured, welcoming path into the Ethiopian Orthodox Tewahedo faith. We bring together language, scripture, history, and tradition into a program families can trust, at every stage from early childhood through the teenage years.

Our Mission
To provide children and teenagers with a thorough, age-appropriate education in the Ethiopian Orthodox Tewahedo faith — including Amharic language, Ge'ez, scripture, prayer, and church history — so they grow into confident, faithful, and grounded young people.
Our Approach
We organize learning around three age groups so that teaching methods, pacing, and depth match each child's stage of development. Every class combines structured lessons with storytelling, discussion, and practice, so students do not just memorize their faith — they come to understand and live it.
